Subsidized loans for college, says the goverment pays the interest as I attend school at least on a half time student. Which is 6 credits a semester. But what if I only take one (3credit class) or even take the entire summer off? Will I be responsible to start paying for my loans, even if I would go back in the Fall Semester?

My husband and I signed a $20,000 loan on a truck. The payments were behind and the car was in a wreck. The truck was repossessed and the loan company says we still owe $8000. The loan company offered a settlement of $2800 if we pay by the end of the month. Does this sound right to anyone?

I just transferred undergraduate schools and still have some student loans from my previous school (Sallie Mae and Federal Direct loans). Is there some sort of clearing house that my new enrollment status will be sent to so that the loan agencies know that I haven’t just stopped going to school (and thus cause my loan payments to become due)? Or must I obtain enrollment verification from my current school and send it to each loan agency myself?

What are the differences between getting a preapproved loan and buying a already built house and going through getting a construction loan? Do you have to put money up front for a construction loan? There is Experian, Equifax and Transunion I have different scores for each, but which one do loan officers and underwriters look at to approve you for an FHA insured loan? Do they look at the highest, lowest or average?

If I got a secured loan against my home and I sell me home, do I have to pay my unsecured loan off when I sell my home? Or can I continue to have my loan and pay it off every month for the term of the loan?
