I messed up my credit horribly last year with a foreclosure, now my car just blew up. How can I expect to get any kind of car loan with such a low FICO score – it’s around 450 right now. I am worried. Thanks for any help on this.

I had my car repossessed about 1 year ago. Payment was in transit and as soon as they received the payment (2 days later) my car was released. I am looking to buy a new car and realized my credit score was hurt but can I get a new car loan with a very valid co-signer?

I have one credit card that I charged up extremely high, and have since closed the account and I am working to pay it pack. However, I also currently I have an auto loan that I am getting stressed out about because I’m worried that if they check my credit score, they will want me to pay the entire loan now. What can they do if they check the score? (The payments on the car are up to date.) What can I do?

I owe about 12,000 on my car loan with an interest rate over the roof….I figured if I borrowed a lot of money i could pay that loan off with the money I borrowed and get a really low interest rate for my car. Am I allowed to do that?

I have 11 months left in my car loan. I was told that if I pay a few extra payments, the debt will not be considered when I try to get a mortgage.

I would like to buy a new car, but I don’t want an actual car loan because I don’t want to pay for it while I’m in school. Can I take out a student loan and use that to buy a car? I would already have all my other expenses taken care of (housing, tuition, food, misc.), and so would this be possible/advisable? If so, any suggestions as to where I can get a loan that will deposit the money directly into my personal bank account?

I applied yesterday for a new apartment, so obviously my credit will be checked, among other things. My mom co-signed for a new car for me about a year ago and I am now plan to refinance my car loan in just my name. Am I going to have a difficult time getting the loan being that I just had my credit checked for a new place? I have about 2.5 years credit history with a fairly average credit score.
